株式会社NTTドコモが技術開発を行い、株式会社Relicが事業運営を行うメタコミュニケーションサービス「MetaMe®」のファングロース支援として、vol.1に続き、サービスと親和性の高いVTuberをターゲットに3ヶ月に渡るプロジェクト「MetaMateグランプリ vol.2」を企画・制作しました。 「ファンと共に、わたしらしさで夢を叶える第一歩が踏み出せる場所」として「MetaMateグランプリ」は、
12名のVTuberが、さまざまなテーマに取り組む仕立てで、VTuberとファンが協働して競い合うグランプリを開催。 イベント期間と伴走するかたちでメタバース空間での定期生放送番組「Road to MataMate」も企画・制作。 さらに、集大成としての「フィナーレイベント」として、勝ち抜いた4名の最終審査をdocomo R&D OPEN LAB ODAIBAで開催。
バーチャル空間で醸成した熱量をリアルイベントにつなげ、MetaMeらしい双方向のコミュニケーションをバーチャルとリアルを超えて実施しました。 ※「MetaMe®」は、大企業やスタートアップ企業のイノベーション創出や事業創造を支援し、豊富な事業共創の実績を持つRelicの「オープンイノベーション事業」の一環として、大企業の新規事業創出を劇的に加速するインキュベーションパートナー・プラットフォーム「DUALii（デュアリー）」を活用し、サービスの提供および運営を行っています。ドコモの新規事業創出プログラム「docomo STARTUP®」の取り組みの一環として、β版先行提供による事業検証を開始しました。
As part of the fan growth support for the meta-communication service "MetaMe®," developed by NTT Docomo, Inc. and operated by Relic Inc., we planned and produced the three-month project "MetaMate Grand Prix vol. 2," targeting VTubers that have a high affinity with the service, following vol. 1. The "MetaMate Grand Prix" serves as a place where fans can take the first step towards realizing their dreams together, showcasing 12 VTubers who compete collaboratively on various themes. In conjunction with the event period, we also planned and produced a regular live broadcast program in the metaverse called "Road to MetaMate." Furthermore, as a culmination of the project, we held a "Finale Event" at docomo R&D OPEN LAB ODAIBA for the four finalists who emerged victorious. We connected the enthusiasm cultivated in the virtual space to a real event, facilitating interactive communication that transcended both virtual and real worlds. "MetaMe®" is part of Relic's "Open Innovation Business," which supports innovation creation and business development for large corporations and startups, leveraging the incubation partner platform "DUALii" to dramatically accelerate the creation of new businesses for large enterprises. As part of Docomo's new business creation program "docomo STARTUP®," we have begun business verification through early beta version offerings.
